Beyond Verbal (BV) is an exchange and cooperation between preschools, independent art organizations, and universities in Stockholm - Rinkeby, Istanbul - Tarlabasi and Aarhus – Gellerup with a special focus on gender equality and inclusion.
Beyond Verbal is a creative tool for educators, especially in socio-economical challenged areas. The tool offers an innovative methodology to develop gender equality, to break standards and to create a more inclusive environment for early childhood education and care. It has been developed through a two year long collaborative research process, using contemporary art participatory processes as methodology, between preschools, independent art organizations and universities in Rinkeby (SE), Tarlabasi (TR) and Gellerup (DK).
